Not having had any action in a while, I went out to the barrows with the four new guys, after a day of one of them making and selling a chest, and me whipping up a rope ladder. I gave that to Vrak to carry. We went down the main entrance. We went in a room with boot tracks on the floor. Tracks that never left the room. But we didn't find anything. I climbed past a pit trap down the hall, heard cloth moving, remembered what Irulan said about when she killed Hendricks and the bad things that were back there, and hightailed it back over the trap.

Through a door in the smelly room and down the hall, we found more burial alcoves lined with silver that we'd need jewelry making tools to extract. Most of the alcoves were empty, but we saw a glint in the back of one of them. Before we could climb in and check, we heard clomping down the hall and talking. The halfling hid inside the alcove with the possible treasure. We met a group of 12 tomb raiders. Then Pippin screamed as he died, and a grey ooze came out of that alcove. Most of the tomb raiders ran. I bolted past the leader and one remaining to put them between me and the ooze. The ooze engulfed the tome raider and he screamed as he died. The leader ran next to me, not having a torch, and offered me 2 gold get him to the exit, which I accepted. The ooze came after us and engulfed Thrain. I ran and the leader followed me. Vrak followed us. Caleb did not, and led the ooze after him.

I led the leader and Vrak to the entrance and up the rope ladder. I waited for a short time for Caleb before removing the rope ladder. He didn't come, so I took the rope ladder and we left.
